Purpose

The fuel that keeps the fire burning;
the fire of zeal, the fire of hope
The fuel that keeps a man going;
giving his all, just for the goal
can be produced only through the heart-
the heart that pants for victory

Though life be filled with obstacles;
some real, many imagined
we still can spread our tentacles;
avoiding obstacles through purpose duly imagined
The power of the mind is in its usage;
a power to be harnessed in birthing fulfilment

Truly we all run a race, whether
we will it or not
time determines our pace, with
an innate desire to hunt,
only some go hunting in the city, and
meet death before the game
while some go hunting in the wild, and
meet death after their aim
Purpose is that fuel,
    Purpose is that which is imagined,
        Purpose is the game,
The game of fulfilment
