God created the earth in six days,
Oduduwa created it in six minutes,
I was there-
I was in Oduduwa's calabash (stolen from Orunmila)
I was the dust to whom God gave his breath.
We have fallen from grace with Oduduwa
We have fallen from favour with God!
I have twisted the six-toed cock's head-
I have murdered the Son of God!
Oduduwa's accomplice will crow once more
and its wail will smash the sun-
There will be no night or daytime
when the Son of Man shall come-
They will come to amerce us:
Oduduwa and His Lord.
