The Light of love need
illuminate us all
The scent of happiness passes
away like the wind
The eyes have seen but have seen not real
The thought of life; a dead man's wish
Dear heart,
That you may ache no more
That you may worry no more
Love no more
Dear heart,
That you may live so long
That you may live so strong
Trust no one
We have seen the works of men
The pillars of hate; the shadows of death
We have dwelt in the centre of life
But in the back; stabbed a million times
Dark pointed edges of hate;
Deep in our souls
Deep in our minds
Why leave the key of our souls
To the princess of grim?
Our light she made dim
Why fall into the abyss of love;
The cold breath of death
The mad rush of blood?
We have received a mandate from the
soul;
Love no more, trust no one
The twinkles of the stars have echoed
these words;
Love is a myth; a fable for hatchlings
